Point PTO Stump Grinder — strongest test. The Standard Series PTO-driven stump grinder removes stumps quickly without hydraulic pumps, hoses, or motors to maintain. Power comes straight from your tractor's 540 RPM PTO through a slip-clutch shaft that protects the driveline when the wheel meets buried rock or root.
The 24-in. cutting wheel carries bolt-on carbide steel teeth and grinds up to 6.7-in. below grade so you can seed or replant right over the old stump. Two kickstands keep the unit upright when it's unhooked, and Cat 1 three-point pins make hookup a one-person job on tractors from 15 to 45 HP.

Works, teeth wore quicker than expected
Sandy soil ate the carbide faster than I hoped. Replacement teeth are cheap at least.

Handled a 26 inch oak
Took about forty minutes and a little patience but it chewed a big red oak stump down under grade. Slip clutch never slipped once I slowed my sweeps.

Cleared the fence line
Had 9 old locust stumps in the fence line I have been mowing around for years. Gone in one Saturday. Should have bought one a long time ago. Recommend it.

Bought for the tree business
Use it as a backup to my walk behind. For small residential jobs the tractor unit is faster to set up and cheaper to run.

Grinds below grade easy
Got well under the surface so I could seed grass over the top. Yard looks like the stump was never there.

Second season, still strong
Bought last spring, used on maybe sixty stumps now. Rotated the teeth once. Nothing loose, nothing bent. Solid piece of equipment.
